We enjoy a spirit of fun, fellowship and sharing of our faith journeys. See our page on Facebook for current happenings. https://www.facebook.com/splcwaukegan
At St. Paul’s, we enjoy sharing our faith, even if it’s not Sunday. Worshippers are encouraged to participate in various ways, like music or dramatic readings, rather than attending like a moviegoer (or napper!) Periodically, our youth lead our services. During Lent many of our members participate in small groups, working with prepared material to discuss so that we can share our faith around our Lenten theme. Various Bible studies meet regularly throughout the year, sharing time, meals and beverages. Many of our members are motivated by their faith to volunteer with community organizations such as Whittier School, Waukegan to College, and COOL. We also participate in community events such as Walk MS, Relay for Life, and Crop Walk.
St. Paul’s is a pretty social group. We love to spend time in fellowship activities, and any reason is a good reason to break bread!
Bowling leagues, chili cook-offs, and karaoke nights are some of the ways we enjoy each others’ company. Some of our members like to travel together and have visited places near and far. Recent trips have included Germany, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, and Turkey.
