Whittier Community Partnership

Part of our mission is to journey with the neighbors that god gives us. There is no closer neighbor than Whittier Elementary School. Each year, we partner to mentor and tutor students, help with landscaping, support fundraisers, provide books for the kids, and anything else that would help this great community.

Kids Hope USA

Volunteers each mentor and read with a student through our partnership with Whittier. Our volunteers love to interact with the children and see them grow year over year.

Teacher Support kits

At the start of the school year, we asked the teachers what they needed most, and the response was supplies for their classroom. Knowing that many of the parents would not be able to afford the supplies, and the teachers have to buy so much, we made support kits for the teachers that included what they needed: Tissues, Folder, Pens, Pencils, cleaning wipes…

LANDSCAPING

Each spring we assist the school by helping to keep the grounds nice and inviting. We donate time and materials to create a warm and inviting space for the students.
